Earline Jacob Culotta

Earline Jacob Culotta passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 8, 2021 at the age of 91. She was the cherished wife of the late Maurice Roy Culotta, Sr. Loving mother of Peggy Culotta Giorgio (former mother-in-law to Lee L. Giorgio), Gary Culotta (Becky) and the late Maurice Culotta, Jr. (Sheryl). Daughter of the late Earl Jacob, Sr. and Nora Arceneaux Jacob. Sister of the late Dolores Fitch and Earl Jacob, Jr. Beloved grandmother of Michelle Cagle (Bruce), Jamie Giorgio Palmer (Jason), Kellie Giorgio Camelford (Jason), Mark Culotta (Sabrina), Austin Culotta (Jessica) and Ellie Culotta Voelkel (Christian). Loving great grandmother of Brynnlee Cagle, Reece Camelford, Leo Camelford and Mason Culotta.

Earline was born and raised in New Orleans and retired from the St. Bernard Parish School System. She found pleasure in the details of everyday life and caring deeply for others. Earline will always be remembered for her loyalty and dedication to her family, her caring and loving spirit, her laughter, and spoiling the grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a wonderful example of what it means to care for others and will be deeply missed by us all.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation to be held at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Saturday, August 21st from 12:00PM – 2:00PM, followed by a Funeral Mass in Earline’s memory beginning at 2:00PM. She will be laid to eternal rest in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens.
