Edwin Anthony Mullet III passed away peacefully on Friday, October 2, 2026 at the age of 65. He was the loving husband of the late Debra Mullet. Beloved father of Sean K. Laiche, Mallorie Hunt (Cody) and Chrystal A. Green (James). Proud grandfather of Sean K. Laiche Jr., Kayla M. Laiche, Deacon Stander, Faith Juneau, Chad Juneau Jr., Abbigail Hunt and Laiken Green. Great grandfather of Conner Laiche, Skylar Laiche, and Jazmine Laiche. Brother of Rose Mullet, and JoAnn Mullet and the late Theodore mullet. Son of the late Edwin Mullet Jr. and JoAnn Mullet.
Born in New Orleans, LA and a longtime resident of Alexandria, LA, Edwin found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He enjoyed fishing, watching horror movies and following any series of motorcycle television. His love for motorcycles was a lifelong passion. He rode until an accident in 1984, but his appreciation for motorcycles never faded. He continued to collect model cars and motorcycles, keeping that passion close to his heart.
Edwin also had a deep love for music, especially the sounds of Ozzy, Eminem, Kid Rock and so many others. He found happiness in the little details of everyday life and cared deeply for the people around him.
Edwin will always be remembered for his loyalty, his dedication to his family, his many passions, and, most of all, his laughter. He was a wonderful example of what it means to care for others and to find meaning and joy in the things he loved.
He leaves behind so many wonderful memories and a lasting impact on everyone who grew to know him. Rest in peace, Edwin. You will be deeply missed by your family, your friends, and everyone who loved you.
