Elaine D. Heffker

Elaine Marie D’Antoni Heffker passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 23, 2023, at the age of 89. She was the cherished wife of the late Allen J. Heffker, Sr. Loving mother of Susan Marie Heffker and the late Marie Elaine Lamia (Kenneth) and the late Allen Jacob Heffker Jr. (Debbie). Proud grandmother of Craig Lamia, Julie Meyers (Frank), Allen J. “A.J.” Heffker (Tiffany), Amanda H. Falgout (Cliff), and Andrew M. Heffker. Great-grandmother of Katelyn and Russell Meyers, Ava and Mia Heffker, and Gabrielle Falgout. Sister of Linda Hendrix (late Terry), the late Andrew G. D’Antoni Jr. (late Shirley), and the late Deborah Dow (Gary, Sr.). Daughter of the late Helen Marie Bergeron D’Antoni and Andrew George D’Antoni, Sr. She is also survived and fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.

Elaine was born in New Orleans, LA and was a longtime resident of St. Bernard Parish.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation Tuesday, May 2, 2023, at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. Virtue St., in Chalmette, from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM. A funeral service will be held in Elaine’s memory at 1:00 PM. She will be laid to eternal rest in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens.
