Ellie Ducker Arch, born in Oak Ridge, Roatan, Honduras, passed away on Thursday, January 12, 2023 in Lacombe, Louisiana, at the age of 104 years, and 26 days. She was the cherished wife of the late Joseph Lorraine Arch; loving mother of Joseph G. Arch (the late Elovise), George Arch, Sr. (Margaret), Ivy Arch Nelson, and Erna Arch Basey (Freddie); proud grandmother of Gary Arch, Sandy Arch Beaubouef, George Arch, Jr., Joey Arch, Jason Arch, Steven Nelson, and Christopher Basey; and great-grandmother of Chelsea, Ashley, and Alex Beaubouef, Gavin Basey, Austin, Kalynn, and Lilly Nelson, and Ava, Luna, Enzo, Callahan, Ellie, Holden, George III, and Beau Arch. She was preceded in death by her parents, the late Ivy Cooper Ducker and George Ducker; and her grandparents, the late Delsie and Samuel Cooper.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Saturday, January 21, 2023, at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. VIRTUE STREET, in Chalmette, from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM. A funeral service will be held in her memory at 1:00 PM. She will be laid to rest in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens.
