Ethel Gerosa Schaff passed away on Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at the age of 93. She was the beloved wife of the late Denis Schaff Jr. for 53 years. Loving mother of Denis Schaff III (Jacqlin), Susan S. Besse (Duke) and Rosemary S. Bonck (Jimmy). Daughter of the Joseph A. Gerosa and Hazel P. Gerosa. Sister of the late Joseph A. Gerosa Jr. Sister-in-Law of Marie A. Gerosa. Proud grandmother of 6 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren.
Ethel was a resident of St. Bernard Parish until 2010 when she relocated to Slidell, LA. Special thanks to the Camellia Garden’s Angels for their loving care and compassion. Ethel will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by all who knew her.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation to be held at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Saturday, December 20, 2014 from 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM. A Funeral Mass will begin at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow in St. Louis No. 3 Cemetery, New Orleans, LA.
