Mrs. Thomes was the wife of the late Ronald Thomes; daughter of the late Gerard and Versie Dugas Netto; mother of Angela Howell (wife of Adam) and Karyn Chambon (wife of Warren Chambon, Jr.); grandmother of Gabe, Ethan, Jacob, Abigail, and Allison; sister of C.J. Netto, Jerry Netto, and the late Cynthia Perret and David Netto. She is also survived by her beloved dog Miley and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Thomes worked as a receptionist at De La Ronde Medical Center until 2005.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass to be held at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church, 2320 Paris Road, Chalmette, Louisiana, on Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at 10:30 am.
