So sorry to hear of the passing of Mr. Floyd. He was a dear family friend. Always ready with a hug and "how ya doing" when ever you saw him. I still have my miniature cedar chest he gave to the senior class of 1978 as a graduation present. My thoughts and prayers are with Ms. Josie and the entire Landry family at this time.

My deepest condolences to Ms. Josie all family members. Mr. Floyd was loved and respected by so many. I remember him when he sold furniture at Dorr's furniture warehouse. Whenever he would see St. Bernard Parish people come through the door he would yell out "That's my people." Always so friendly and caring. And when his son, Floyd, joined the band Barry and the Outlanders, Mr. Floyd enjoyed having them practice in his garage. I will always remember his bright smile and his wonderful personality. He will be missed by many. May he rest in peace.

Sincere condolences to the Landry family. As a former neighbor, I lived on Nancy Dr, I so remember his waves to me as I passed his home. Very good man. He left wonderful memories with people. That is a successful life. Amen.
