Frank Natalie Arena Jr.

Frank N. Arena Jr, 85, passed away peacefully in his home on Thursday, June 9, 2022 in Chalmette, LA. He was born on August 31, 1936 in New Orleans, LA, the son of Frank N. Arena Sr. and Leoda Foster Arena. He was a graduate of Warren Easton High School. Frank was well known and respected in St. Bernard Parish as a real estate entrepreneur. He loved his family more than anything, including children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He loved traveling with his family but just as much enjoyed being home with them watching a Saints, LSU or Pelicans games. He will be missed for his charm, humor, generosity, wisdom and storytelling. He was loved by all who crossed his path. Frank lost the love of his life, Madeline, his wife of 65 years on July 11, 2020. He has joined her now as was his hope since she passed.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters Audrey DiCarlo and Shirley Rosselli. Frank is survived by his son Dr. Gregg Keith Arena (Alisha) and Douglas David Arena; grandchildren Travis (Sabrina), Cori (Melissa), Jaren, Elijah and Addison. He was gifted last year with two wonderful great grandchildren, Zella Wren and Slate Briar. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Since Frank loved his dogs, mention of Chewy and Honey must be included.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation to be held at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Thursday, June 16, 2022 from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM. A Funeral Mass will begin at 1:00 PM. He will be laid to rest in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens.
