Heartbroken to hear of Fred's passing.  He was a dedicated leader with true vision.  He will be remembered for his kindness and integrity.

I know he will be watching over Strelsa from above.

Fred was a great leader and a great friend. He had the unique ability to be able to relate to anyone at any level. He will be missed. May his family find comfort in wonderful memories of a wonderful man.

God will wipe all tears away. Condolences to the family. Fred was a man that touched many lives at PMMH.  I’ve had so many memories with Fred, one comes to mind that makes me laugh, that was the one when we use to smoke and we would be lined up on the roof  like pigeons when it would be raining. Had to have that cigarette 😂😂. He was a man that encouraged all of us to be like family.  Don’t get it twisted, if we needed to be disciplined, he would do that also but in a way that was respectful. 22 years and we all were family.  I thank God for our Methodist family, I would often tell the world how blessed we were. There’s no other hospital family like the one we had. I will be praying for your family in this difficult time. Very sad to learn of Fred’s passing. I hope that you will be consoled by the fact that he brought laughter to so many people Strelsa. I will always remember the many golf trips that we took and the fun we had on those. I’m sorry we can’t make it in from Lake Charles but know that our hearts are there with you.

When Fred came to Pendleton 
Memorial Methodist Hospital, I had been working in Radiology for 11 years.  His first task was to have a hospital-wide computer system installed.  He was meeting with Department Directors and personnel to be involved.  I recognized Fred from the neighborhood where we grew up going to different high schools a couple blocks away.  That instant connection put me at ease with him as we spoke about the old neighborhood.  Over the years, Fred complimented me on my work on various projects.  He allowed many managerial programs to expand our knowledge and skills over his 23 years with PMMH.  My condolences to his beloved wife, Strelsa, and Fred's children, Christopher, Michael and Catherine.  It was a joy to have known and worked with Fred.  May the angels bring him to Paradise!

It was my honor and privilege to serve as Chief Human Resources Officer at Methodist Hospital reporting to Fred. He was a great leader and mentor to me and to so many others. A person of courage and determination, he had a great knack  for taking on challenges and obstacles and blast through them to arrive at successful conclusions. He had street-smarts and he trusted and acted on his instincts, which served him well. I appreciated his advice and counsel, not only while I was reporting to him at work, but in my professional and personal life since leaving Methodist Hospital. When he referred to all of his employees/ colleagues as "Methodist Family",  and he truly meant it. I am blessed to have had him in my life. My deepest sympathies go out to Strelsa, his family and to those who were so very close to him. Let's be lifted by the many treasured memories we have of our times with Fred. May God Bless and receive him. 🙏🌹

Fred and Strelsa were our neighbors when we moved to The Oaks in Pass Christian. 
Always good friends and Strelsa did an amazing job taking care of Fred in his final days. 
We are proud to be a part of their lives since becoming their neighbors we are better knowing them.
May God bless them and know we are blessed for knowing them and wish Strelsa will remember how sweet they are in our lives.

We have lived across the street for 3 years, and Fred & Strelsa are two of the kindest, friendliest, and always willing to help people we have known.  

We will miss Fred’s smiling face, but know he is now taking care of Strelsa from above. 

Their love for each other was inspiring!
