Gage Garcia, 19, of Covington, LA was born on October 28th, 2004, and passed away on October 15th, 2024, but his larger-than-life personality and infectious smile will live on forever in the hearts of all who were blessed to have crossed paths with him. Gage is the son of Christie Foster and Justin Garcia, who loved their boy so fiercely, stepson of Kelsey Brock Garcia and Beau Serigne, loving brother to Macyn, Blake, and Brett Garcia and Laiton Serigne. Gage is the grandson of Lonnie Foster, Linda Albers Foster, William “Mark” Garcia, Sr., and the late Patricia Perez Garcia, with whom we know he is dancing with daily on the streets of Heaven. Gage is the nephew of many special aunts and uncles including Stacy Foster, Sindy and Gerald Guarino, William “Mark” Garcia, Jr., and Angelo Gonzales, Jr. Gage was blessed with cousins, who were more like siblings, including Grace, Ava, and Josephine “Josie” Garcia, Marisa Guarino, and Matthew Carbajal. Gage was also lucky enough to have met the love of his life, his girlfriend, Kennedi Hill. Growing up, Gage attended school in Madisonville and would then attend high school at Archbishop Hannan High School. Through the years, Gage made some of his very best friends who have turned into family. Gage was a member of the football team at Hannan, and although at times Gage may have been one of the smallest on the field, he played with a heart that was 10 feet tall. That is who Gage was. When something meant something to him, he put every ounce of himself into it. This carried over into his daily life, and anyone who knew him would tell you that Gage was one of the most kind, loving, and genuine people they knew. His loyalty was a force to be reckoned with. He had the amazing ability to make anyone laugh, even when they didn’t want to. His smile was contagious. You couldn’t help but smile when Gage was around. He was always dancing and didn’t care where he was or who was watching. He never took life too seriously, and he lit up any room he walked into within a matter of seconds. Mostly, Gage was loved. Whether you knew him for a few minutes or his entire life, you couldn’t help but fall in love with him. Gage was one of a kind and the light he brought to this world is so great that even in death, his light will remain. His beautiful life and captivating spirit have inspired all who had the pleasure of knowing him to live like Gage. His family is forever grateful for all the prayers, support, and love given during this difficult time.
Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial on November 1st, 2024, from 10 AM to 12 PM at St. Bernard Memorial Funeral Home and Gardens, 701 W.
