Gerald Clyde Gregoire passed away at his residence in Chalmette, Louisiana, on Wednesday, July 8, 2020, at the age of 63. He is survived by his only child, Amanda Rae Gregoire; his loving mother, Gloria Marie Vicknair Gregoire; and his two brothers, Douglas and Eric Gregoire. Gerald was preceded in death by his wife, the late Joann Ricks Gregoire, his father, the late Joseph Dewey Gregoire, his brothers, the late David "Randy" Randall, the late Glenn Gregoire, and the late Patrick Gregoire; and sister-in-law, the late Jeannie Gregoire. Gerald was a native of New Orleans and a lifelong resident of Chalmette. He was a welder by trade. A private visitation will be held for Gerald on Tuesday, July 28, 2020, at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, from 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM. A funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM.

I am so sorry that Gerald passed away, I spent sometime with him for one of the hurricanes we had, I think he was a nice guy he will be deeply missed .

I enjoyed getting to know Gerald, I was married to Randy. That picture of him looks a bit like Randy. My heartfelt thoughts to the family, especially you Amanda, is to remember that grieving is hard, but if we remember them with good thoughts it will make it easier. Gerald was always nice to me and for that he will always be remembered in my heart.
