Gerard never had a bad thing to say about anyone to me. He was quiet and sweet. My husband Joe always shared memories of his life growing up in his neighborhood surrounded by all of his family which included his cousin. He always says it was such a happy time. Gerard was part of all the happy memories that Joe thinks about all the time. I’ve know Gerard since I came into the family at sixteen. I saw him as a very independent person who lived his life the way he wanted to. I admired him for that. We will miss him greatly.
