

Helen Boudreaux Perez passed away peacefully on Monday, November 10, 2025 at the age of 52. Her final days were spent comforted by her family and friends. Beloved wife of Dwyne Perez. Loving mother of Grace Roberts (Brian Barry) and Brooklyn Cassanova Melerine (Timothy). Devoted daughter of Linda Klibert and Al Boudreaux. Step-daughter of Ann Boudreaux. Sister of Barbara Klibert Young (Ernest Jr.), Sharon Boudreaux-Guiette (Steve) Patrick Boudreaux and Carmelite Miller Sievers (Herbert Jr.). Proud aunt of Dakota Sievers, Tara Young Dewitt (Brian), Dylan Miller (Caroline) and Allen Fansler. Great aunt of Colt Ballard, Poppy Miller, Shepherd Miller and Colin Fansler. She is also survived and fondly remembered by a multitude of aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.
Helen was preceded in death by her aunts Betty Klibert Smith, Edna Coates, Rose Prejeant; her uncles John Smith Sr., Horace Boudreaux, Quebert Prejeant, Norman Coates; and her grandparents Bernadette Klibert, Addis Klibert, Edna Gros and Red Boudreaux.
Helen was born in Marrero, LA and was a longtime resident of St. Bernard Parish. She embraced life’s simple pleasures and found joy in sharing them with others. An exceptional cook and talented caterer, Helen was known for her delicious gumbo that always brought family and friends together around her table.
She had a deep love for all things Disney, held season tickets for her beloved Saints and was a skilled bartender whose laughter and kindness made everyone feel at home. She found meaning and beauty in the small moments of everyday life and cared deeply for those around her. She was a devoted wife, a loving daughter, a strong and supportive sister, a nurturing mother, and an aunt who gave her whole heart. Her compassion, warmth and deep love helped make this world a little brighter for those around her. Helen’s kindness, good nature and generous heart will live on in the hearts of all who loved her and she will be deeply missed by us all.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation to be held at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Monday, November 17th from 9:00AM – 11:00AM, followed by a funeral service in Helen’s memory beginning at 11:00AM. She will be laid to eternal rest in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens.
