My deepest condolences to you Cliff, and Paul and your families. Your family has always made me welcome and feel as though I was a Zeairs myself. I loved your Mom and the Commander. My times growing up with them as a second pair of parents will never be forgotten. I will think of Miss Irene often, she was so kind and a sharp person! There are so many found memories of Aunt Rene that I cannot even begin to pick one, but going to her house to attend Mardi Gras parades and spending weekends at her camp on the bayou have to been some of the top. Every moment with her was a blessing, a joy and filled with adventure. She was always a pillar of strength and an inspiration to us all. Aunt Rene exuded love, generosity and kindness. I am eternally grateful and blessed to have called her my aunt. I will certainly miss her!
Love,
Ann Cosse Swigart
