

Jack Ardie Badinger Sr. passed away peacefully on Monday, October 27, 2025 at the age of 81. He was the beloved husband of 51 years to the late MaryEvelyn Jirovec Badinger. Loving father of Jack Badinger Jr. (Stephanie) and Jason Badinger. Proud grandfather of Jack Badinger III, Jeremy Badinger, Adelaide Badinger and Margaret Badinger. Brother of Linda Bergund and the late Earl Badinger Jr. Son of the late Geraldine Tucker Badinger and Earl John Badinger Sr. He is also fondly remembered by many relatives, cousins and dear friends.
Jack was born in New Orleans, LA and spent most of his life in St. Bernard Parish. He enjoyed a long and dedicated career in the shipping industry as an Ironworker.
Beyond his professional life, Jack found great fulfillment in serving his community. He was an active member of several organizations, including the Greater New Orleans National Federation of the Blind (GNO-NFB), the Antique Car Club of St. Bernard, the St. Bernard Council on Aging, and the OLPS Golden Agers. He found pleasure in the details of everyday life and cared deeply for others. He was affectionately known for his kind heart, good humor and deep devotion to his family. He will be forever remembered as a devoted husband, father, grandfather and brother who treasured his family and friends. He was wonderful example of what it means to care for others and will be deeply missed by us all.
