James Christopher Beck Sr. entered into eternal rest on Sunday, October 4, 2020 at the age of 66. James was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Chalmette for the past 45 years. Beloved husband of 45 years to Jacqueline Askew Beck. Loving father of Genie Beck Esta (Beau), James Beck Jr. and Christy Beck Cain (Jason). Brother of Patrick Beck (JoAnn), Timothy Beck (the late Cheryl), Eugene Beck (Annette), Charlene Sietzen, and the late William Beck (Linda), Charles Beck, Carlos Beck Jr. (JoAnn) and Noel Beck. Son of the late Carlos Beck Sr. and Mildred Livermore Beck. Proud grandfather of Kaitlyn, Collin, Trent, Lucas, Alexis, Bethany & Gavin Alfonso, Annabelle & Amelia Beck, Maysen, Noah & Isaac Cain. Godfather of Joli Sietzen Florane. He is also survived and fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
