Joseph D. Lafleur passed away on February 25, 2022 at the age of 92. He was the loving husband of the late Vernice Lafleur. Proud father of Judy Casanova, Becky Manzella and David Lafleur. Caring grandfather of 4 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; 5 great- great grandchildren; brother of Tina Lafleur and Theresa LaPorte. He is preceded in death by his parents, Dennis Lafleur and Eugenia Verrette; his siblings, Rose Carmello and Danny Glen Lafleur.
Joseph worked for Kaiser Aluminum for 30 years. His greatest joy was taking care of his wife until God call her home. He loved fishing, working in his yard and helping his sister Theresa when she needed him. Joseph took pride in spending time with his children and grandchildren. He was a good man that loved helping others in their time of need. He was very loved by his family and will be missed by us all.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass at ST. BERNARD CATHOLIC CHURCH, 2805 Bayou Rd., ST. BERNARD, LA on Wednesday, March 16, 2022 at 11:00AM.
