Judy LeJeune Lucas passed away on Monday, August 11, 2014 at the age of 53. Wife of David C. Lucas. Beloved mother of Miranda Lucas and Angelina Lucas. Sister of Cynthia Lang and Ronnie LeJeune. Daughter of the late Rodney and Theresa LeJeune. She is also survived and fondly remembered as a great-aunt to many, along with her nieces, nephews, cousins, her foster children and many dear friends.
Judy was a native of New Orleans, LA and a longtime resident of St. Bernard Parish, settling in Picayune, MS following Hurricane Katrina. She will be forever remembered as a loving and loyal mother, sister, great-aunt, foster parent and a friend of many, who loved passing time while painting. She will be deeply missed by her family and by all those whose lives she touched.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial gathering to be held at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Wednesday, August 20th from 10:00AM – 12:00PM, followed by a Memorial Service beginning at 12:00PM. Burial will be private.
