Leonard Philip King

Leonard Philip KING, age 95, of Saint Bernard, Louisiana passed away on Tuesday, March 2, 2021. Leonard was born April 27, 1925 in New Orleans, LA to the late Harry King and Argentine Dufrene King. Leonard was preceded in death by his first wife , Gloria Morales King and then second wife Merle Decker King as well as his daughter, Lenette King Ladner and siblings, Nora King West, Madeline King Rutt Clifford and Roy King.

Leonard was the loving father of Wayne King (Pamela) and Sydney Mulnick (Dave) loving Grandfather of, Piper D. Bogle, Erin Benoit(Leon), Lisa Lopez, Lori Goll(Michael), Leni Engle(Rich), Robert Brown(Deborah) and Wayne King Jr. (Josie) and proud Great-Grandfather of Virginia Spencer, Alyssa Brown, Catherine Goll, Olivia Clontz, Isabella Lopez, Elizabeth King, Richard Spencer, Brandon Bogle Jaxon Benoit, Jeffrey King, Justin King, Alex Bordelon, Pablo Lopez and Seth Goll.

Leonard was a proud veteran of WWII serving in the Marine Corp.

A visitation for Leonard will be held Thursday, March 11, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at St. Bernard Catholic Church, 2805 Bayou Rd, St. Bernard, LA 70085. A funeral service will occur Thursday, March 11, 2021 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, 2805 Bayou Rd, St. Bernard, LA 70085. A burial will follow the funeral service Thursday, March 11, 2021 at St. Bernard Catholic Cemetery.
