Lillian Verdin Gauthreaux, a resident of St. Bernard Parish, passed away on Tuesday, January 4, 2022, at the age of 50. She was the beloved spouse of Michael C. Hulse for 35 years; loving mother of Paul A. Gauthreaux, and Devon A. Gauthreaux; devoted granny of Brantley Cotton, Jaxon Gauthreaux, and Brailey Gauthreaux; and sister of Danielle Rose Schlumbrecht, and Eric J. Evans, Jr. She also leaves behind her pets, Moose, Bear, Mieux, and Bam Bam that she loved dearly, along with a host of other relatives and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, the late Elouise G. Evans and Eric J. Evans, Sr.
Lillian was a graduate of Charity School of Nursing, and enjoyed a long career in the nursing profession, serving as Director of Nursing and Assistant Administrator for Good Samaritan Rehab and Nursing Facility for many years. She was loved by all, and healed many.
