Loretta Burke Spath

Loretta B. Spath passed away Monday, April 5, 2021 at the age of 93. Loretta was born December 12, 1927 to her parents, the late Edwin and Lillian Burke. Besides her parents , Loretta was preceded in death by her loving husband, Wallace Joseph Spath Sr. as well as her brother , Edwin P. Burke. Loretta was survived by her daughter, Nadine S. Darsom (Lawrence) and a son, Wallace Joseph Spath Jr. (Diane). Loretta was the proud grandmother of four grandchildren as well as nine great-grandchildren.in

Loretta was a resident of St. Bernard Parish her entire life up until Hurricane Katrina then relocating to East Baton Rouge , LA until her death. The family would like to offer their heartfelt thanks to Landmark South Nursing and Rehabilitation center in East Baton Rouge, LA.

A visitation and funeral services were held this past Wednesday April 14, 2021 at St. Bernard Memorial Funeral Home at 701 W. Virtue Street Chalmette, LA 70043. She was buried following the funeral service this past Wednesday at St. Bernard Memorial Gardens.
