Lynn Faurie Breuhl, loving mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully at the age of 74, on Friday, November 19, 2021, in the presence of her family. She was the wife of Robert C. Breuhl, Sr. and daughter of the late Wallace J. Faurie and the late Odile Barousse Faurie. Mother of Kellie Miller (Shonda), James C. Miller, III, and Brandon Miller (Alexa). Sister of Mark J. Faurie (Patti) and the late Gene M. Faurie (Debbie). Also survived by three stepchildren and six grandchildren.
Lynn was born and raised in New Orleans, where she played sports and was an excellent student. She later resided in Arabi, Chalmette and Lacombe. She graduated from Francis T. Nicholls High School and spent the majority of her years as a Legal Assistant. Lynn enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, watching Jeopardy, and always taking care of her loved ones. She was a longtime faithful member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in New Orleans and later The Village Lutheran Church in Lacombe. She enjoyed watching sports played by her children and grandchildren as well as on television. Lynn was loved by all and will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
Finally, the family wishes to thank Ochsner Medical Center for their caring and compassionate support until their loved one passed on to her heavenly home.
Relatives and friends are invited to a Memorial Service on Saturday, November 27, 2021, beginning at 10:00 AM, at The Village Church Lutheran, 29180 Highway 190, Lacombe, Louisiana 70445, Pastor Charles Truax officiating. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Northshore Humane Society, Covington, LA, www.northshorehumane.org.
