Marilyn was born in New Orleans, LA and was a longtime resident of Plaquemines Parish. She had a bright spirit and a love for exploring new horizons. She and her husband, Alan, shared a deep connection through their adventures, often cruising the coast and relishing the beauty of the open road. Camping under the stars brought them closer together, creating lasting memories of togetherness and tranquility.
One of Marilyn's great joys in life was cruising in her '73 Volkswagen Super Beetle. Her passion for classic cars was a shared love with Alan. When they first met, they each owned a Volkswagen Beetle, his in a shimmering gold and hers in a vibrant lime green. This shared interest in classic cars was the foundation of their deep and enduring connection. Above all else, Marilyn was devoted to her family. Her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren held a special place in her heart. She cherished every moment spent with them, making sure to spoil them with love, attention, and her famous home-cooked meals.
