Loving mother of Dawn P. Frommeyer (Gerard), Dustin Powell (Kelli) and Dayne Powell (Jamie). Daughter of the late James and Janell McQuary. She is survived and fondly remembered by several wonderful brothers and sisters. She was well loved and affectionately known for her good nature and generous heart. Known to her nieces, nephews and cousins as B.A.M. “Beautiful Aunt Marilyn” to all others who knew her she said, “If you forgot my name, just call me Beautiful.” She was a good and loving servant, but became a faithful Catholic at St. Mark's Church in Chalmette, LA and continued to practice her faith at St. Luke's Church in Slidell, LA. She will be deeply missed by her family and by all those whose lives she touched with her love, kindness, laughter and compassion.

I have many fond memories of Cousin Marilyn, in the early years when I would spend time in the summer at Uncle James and Aunt Nell's home in Washington Park, I a young boy, and Marilyn a beautiful and kind teenager.

Our last time together we spent a day together with her showing me the sites and experiences of New Orleans. We had a wonderful day, lots of laughs, great food and enjoying each other's company.

Heaven has gained another precious Angel!!!

My most enduring memory of Beautiful Marilyn was her smile. You could tell it came from her heart and lit up her whole face. She truly was beautiful inside and out! She loved life and her family and could always make me laugh. My fondest remembrance of Marilyn was her rubber "cold drink" cup holder. We didn't get to visit often but I remember she would go nowhere without it no matter how formal the circumstance. To all of you who were so important to her, please accept my sincere sympathy. The world will be a little less bright without her. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers and will remember her forever. May God Bless you and keep you in his care.
