I remember when I first met them. It was the December before Hurricane Katrina (I was 14). I wrote them a letter (I don't remember what I wrote) and while staying with Uncle Huey I got to meet them in person. We talked, they showed me pictures of family history and I got to see the house my Mom and Uncle grew up in. In spite of the fighting and drama, I was glad to have met my Grandparents and will think of the good memories I have of them.
