Melinda Reynolds Wolfe

Melinda Wolfe, 63, passed away on Sunday, May 16, 2021. She was the beloved wife of 42 years to Michael T. Wolfe, Sr. Loving mother of Michael Wolfe, Jr. (Jamie) and Joshua Wolfe (Kaylyn). Daughter of the late Rudy Reynolds, Sr. and Angella Reynolds. Sister of Sharon Chatelain (Burton) and the late Melissa Reynolds and Rudy Reynolds, Jr. Proud grandmother of Kaiden, Olivia, Avery, Carson, and Emilia. She is also survived by her niece Kasie Burke (Jason), and nephew Burton Chatelain, Jr., as well as great-nieces Kylie and Kamryn, and great-nephews Jace and Jacob. She is fondly remembered by her many cousins and friends.

Melinda was born in New Orleans, LA, and was a lifetime resident of St. Bernard Parish. Her greatest joys in life were her family and her animals. Her love of life was shown through her actions every day, whether it was rescuing animals or spending her days with her grandbabies. She will be remembered dearly by all who knew her, for her huge heart, her selflessness, her unwavering kindness, and her true love of life, family, and animals.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Monday, May 24, 2021, at OUR LADY OF PROMPT SUCCOR CATHOLIC CHURCH, 2320 PARIS ROAD, in Chalmette, from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM. A funeral mass will be held in her memory at 1:00 PM. She will be laid to rest in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens.
