Michael Lynn Piazza

Michael Lynn Piazza, 62, of Marrero, LA passed away on Tuesday, August 26, 2014, in his home. Beloved husband of Tina Piazza. Father of Tina Marie Piazza (Buddy), Tommy Michael Piazza (Denise) and Michael Lynn Piazza Jr. (Monique). Grandfather of Dylan, Tommy, Emma, Destinee, Landon and Logan. Son of the late Anthony and Mary Piazza. Brother of Anthony Piazza (Suzie). Michael is also survived by many other family and friends. Mike retired from Schindler Elevator after 30 years of service and was a proud brother of IUEC Local 16 Union. He loved the New Orleans Saints and the St. Louis Cardinals. He was an avid golfer. He will be remembered for his passion of music and his warm, welcoming nature. He was friendly, easy-going and an all around great guy. He was a lifelong resident of St. Bernard Parish until Hurricane Katrina.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Visitation to be held at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Friday, August 29, 2014 from 9:30 AM – 12:00 PM. A Funeral Mass will begin at 12:00 PM. The family kindly request that roses be omitted from any floral arrangements due to health concerns.
