Misty Grosch Sherlock passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 18, 2026 at the age of 50. Her final days were spent surrounded by family and friends that she had touched in some way throughout her very memorable and accomplished life. She was the cherished wife of Charles Robb Sherlock. Loving mother of Zoe Lafrance and step-mother of Lexie Sherlock. Devoted daughter of Jacqueline Bagwell Grosch and the late Gerald Grosch Sr. Proud grandmother of Rowen Campo. Sister of Gerald Grosch II. Aunt of Kennedi Grosch, Karmindi Grosch, Kylie Grosch and Kamille Grosch. Misty is also survived and fondly remembered by many cousins, relatives and close friends.
Misty was born in New Orleans, LA, and was a longtime resident of St. Bernard Parish. She earned her doctorate as a Nurse Practitioner and devoted her life to the care of others, rising to serve as LCMC Corporate Vice President of Case Management & Utilization beginning in 2018. Known for her deep compassion and tireless dedication, Misty approached her work with both exceptional skill and a commitment to those she served.
Though her illness often left her body appearing frail, Misty’s spirit remained remarkably strong. She faced her challenges with quiet courage, unshakable perseverance and a determination that inspired all who knew her.
Beyond her profession, Misty found joy in life’s simple moments. She was a devoted animal lover to her three beloved dogs, Jax, Cooper, and Bentley, who brought her such warm companionship. In her rare moments away from work, she embraced her passions, attending EDM festivals, following Formula 1 racing and cheered for her favorite football teams.
To her family, her love was the kind that never needed big words to be known. She was more than any title could define. She was a devoted wife, a daughter who loved deeply, a sister who stood strong, a mother who guided with quiet love, a nurturing grandmother and a woman whose presence made life a little richer. She will be remembered for her grace, her resilience and the profound impact she made both professionally and personally.
Her journey is a powerful reminder to cherish each day as a gift and to hold close the moments that become lasting memories.
Rest in peace, our dear Misty. You will be missed beyond measure, loved beyond words, and remembered in every heart you touched.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation to be held at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Tuesday, March 24th from 11:00AM – 1:00PM, followed by a celebration of Misty’s life beginning at 1:00PM. She will be laid to eternal rest in a private ceremony.
