Noelle had a vibrant spirit and a deep love for gathering with those she loved. She never missed an opportunity to host or attend a celebration, and her warmth and hospitality made every occasion special. She especially loved Mardi Gras and proudly reigned as Queen of the Krewe of Samson and Delilah many years ago, a role she cherished and spoke of often. She truly believed life was meant to be celebrated, and she made sure everyone around her felt that joy.
She loved decorating her home for every season and was especially known for putting up three Christmas trees each year, filling her home with lights, color, and holiday cheer. Noelle was also a devoted supporter of her family’s passions. She loved cheering on her daughters and granddaughters at the rodeo as they rode their horses, never missing a chance to encourage them from the stands. She proudly cheered for her daughter Jeanne, and celebrated when her son-in-law won the Kentucky Oaks.
A spirited and competitive woman, Noelle was also a talented cabbage ball player. She played first base for the Poydras Grocery Store team and was known for being a strong player on a team that usually won.
She especially loved cheering on the New Orleans Saints, proudly supporting her team each football season and enjoying game days surrounded by family and friends.
Her faith was an important part of her life. She lovingly prepared a beautiful St. Joseph altar in her home each year, continuing a treasured tradition with devotion and care. Noelle’s legacy lives on in the close-knit family she cherished and nurtured throughout her life.
