Nola Ancar Phillips, age 86 years, passed away on Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at her home in Marrero, LA. Beloved wife of Charles Jesse Phillips for 59 years. Loving mother of Teddy L. Phillips and Jackie L. Phillips. Daughter of the late Lawrence Ancar and Louise Sylve Ancar. Sister of the late Annie Phillips, Esther Ard, and Leondas Ancar. Aunt of Jeanette Murphy Sonnier and other nieces and nephews. Mrs. Phillips was a former resident of Chalmette, LA and a resident of Marrero since 2005. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral services at St. Bernard Memorial Funeral Home, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Monday, September 19, 2016 at 12:00 PM.
