Patricia Estopinal Kenney

Patricia Estopinal Kenney entered into the heavenly kingdom on Thursday, May 2, 2015 surrounded by her loving and devoted family at the age of 71. She was the cherished wife of the late David L. Kenney Sr. for 41 years. Loving mother of Lisa Kenney (Richie), David L. Kenney Jr. (Julie) and John A. Kenney (Tania). Daughter of the late Catherine Barbin Estopinal and Albert Estopinal Sr. Sister of Catherine Stechmann (Karl), Cynthia Estopinal, Ella Estopinal, Robert Estopinal (Kathy), Ricky Estopinal (Mary) and Albert Estopinal Jr. Proud grandmother of Christopher Acosta, Patricia Boudreaux, Paul Boudreaux, Kyle Kenney, Connor Kenney, Kaitlyn R. Wilson Kenney, Blake A. Tessitore Kenney, Madison M. Kenney and Xavias J. Kenney. Great grandmother of Destiney Horton, Iceis Acosta, Ilise Acosta, Kayleigh Carbajal, Martin Carbajal III, Cadence Dettwiller, Avery Boudreaux, Kole B. Martin, Kaman A. Martin and Ava M. Pizzo. Godmother of Richard T. Sass III. Also survived and lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. Patricia was born in New Orleans, LA and was a lifelong resident of St. Bernard Parish. She was affectionately known to her friends as ‘Mama Moo’. Patricia loved to dance and was truly devoted to her family. She touched many lives with her zest for living each day to the fullest. Patricia will be forever remembered and deeply missed by all who knew her. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation to be held at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Thursday, May 7, 2015 from 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM and on Friday, May 8, 2015 from 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM. A Funeral Mass will begin at 12:00 PM at ST. BERNARD CATHOLIC CHURCH, 2805 Bayou Rd., St. Bernard, LA. She will be laid to rest in St. Bernard Catholic Cemetery, St. Bernard, LA.
