Patricia Lannes Marrione

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Patricia Lannes Marrione, 71, of Chalmette, Louisiana, on Wednesday, January 29, 2025. Patricia was born on February 4, 1953, in New Orleans LA to Gregory John Lannes Jr. and Peggy Ann Lonergan Lannes.

She was a loving wife, devoted mother, caretaker and a safeplace for all who knew her. Patricia lived a life full of kindness and compassion. She never met a stranger and touched the hearts of so many with her open and amazing heart, and her memory will forever be cherished by all those who knew and loved her.

Patricia is survived by husband Ray Marrione; her children Adrian Godchaux, Christopher Marrione (Mindy Ubas Marrione), Ray Mac Marrione (Aerin Hemsath Marrione), Jeanne Marrione, and Bill Schremp; her grandchildren Hannah Godchaux, Reese Godchaux, Gage Godchaux, Brenna Marrione, Macy Marrione, Mia Fortier Fage, and William “Liam” Fortier; her four great-grandchildren; her bonus daughter Kristian Ballard; and her bonus grandchildren Sandy Bates, Vanessa Bates, Christopher Ballard, and Nicholas Ballard; her 6 siblings Gregory John Lannes III (Joann Melerine Lannes) William Lannes (Tammy Lannes) Cathleen Lannes Anderson, Raymond Lannes, Patrick Lannes, Thomas Lannes (Debra Hunter Lannes); and many nieces and nephews .

She was preceded in death by her parents Gregory John Lannes Jr. and Peggy Ann Lonergan Lannes. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

A Memorial Mass will be held at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church, 3368 Esplanade Ave, New Orleans, LA 70119, on Wednesday, February 5th at 11:00 a.m. A graveside service will follow at St. Louis no. 3 Cemetery, 3421 Esplanade Ave, New Orleans, LA 70119.
