Patricia “Pat” J. Martinez passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 26, 2018 at the age of 67. Beloved wife of Kenneth “Kenny” Martinez Sr. for 51 years. Loving mother of Raquel M. Sandrock (Roy III) and the late Kenneth Martinez Jr. Daughter of the late Frances and Emile “Pete” Petermann. Sister of Phyllis Gioe, Dale Jackson, Deborah Boihem and the late Dianna Jackson and William Jackson Jr. Proud grandmother of Tristan Sandrock (Rachel), Rene Sandrock and Alyssa Belgiovine. Great grandmother of Eliza Sandrock and Everly Sandrock. Also survived and fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, godchildren and friends.
Pat was born on November 30, 1950 in New Orleans, LA and was a longtime resident of St. Bernard Parish. She enjoyed crafting, traveling and especially spending time with her family. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends and all of those whose lives she touched.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation to be held at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Tuesday, July 31, 2018 from 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM. A funeral service will begin at 2:00 PM. She will be laid to rest in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens.
