Paul Louis Boudreaux Sr.

Paul Louis Boudreaux Sr., passed away on Thursday, August 5, 2021 at the age of 73. He was the beloved father of Paul Boudreaux Jr., Patricia Pfalzgraf, Rachel Birdwell and Chris Acosta. Former spouse of Lisa Kenney. Son of the late Ernest Boudreaux and Rita Foss Boudreaux. Brother of Jody Boudreaux, Kathy Bergeron (Ronnie), Rita Mae Boudreaux and the late Ricky Boudreaux and Ernest Boudreaux Jr. Proud grandfather of Cadence Dettwiller, Avery Boudreaux, Paris Boudreaux, Kayleigh Carbajal, Martin Carbajal III, Olivia Pfalzgraf and Brooke Eschette. He is also survived and fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.

Paul was born in New Orleans, LA and was a longtime resident of St. Bernard Parish where he enjoyed careers with Chalmette Bicycle Shop, Security Guard for Marriott Hotels and especially a long career serving his community and retiring with over 30 years as a Firefighter. His belief in a hard day’s work was surpassed only by the love for his grandchildren. He will always be remembered for his loyalty and dedication to his family, his caring and loving spirit, his laughter, and spoiling the grandchildren. He was a wonderful example of what it means to work hard and care for others. He will be deeply missed by us all.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation to be held at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Wednesday, August 11th from 11:00am – 1:00pm, followed by a funeral service in Paul’s memory beginning at 1:00PM. Burial will be private. Due to COVID-19, face masks and social distancing are recommended.
