Pearl Theresa Ricouard Hernandez

Pearl Theresa Ricouard Hernandez was greeted by her angels and taken to her eternal rest on Monday, March 4, 2013 at the age of 82. She was the cherished wife of 65 years to Hudson "Tee" Hernandez Sr. Loving mother of Bonnie Cavignac (Ray), Hudson "Bobby" Hernandez Jr. (Alisa), Judy Roberts (Earl) and Lorie Johnson (David). Daughter of the late Bernice and Ernest Ricouard Sr. Sister of Dolores Gutierrez and Ernest "Sonny" Ricouard Jr. Proud grandmother of Kim Ohler, Christy Shahine, Ryan Roberts, Brad Roberts, Lacy Saigeon, Dustin Johnson, Dayna Cefalu, Lindsey Hernandez, Matthew Hernandez and the late Michael Johnson. She is also survived and fondly remembered by her 10 great grandchildren, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. Pearl is deeply loved by all and will forever be remembered as a loving and loyal wife, mother, grandmother, sister and a friend to many, who enjoyed her trips to the casino, loved the time spent with her grandchildren, and treasured her family above all else. She will always be remembered for her gift of great cooking.

The family would like to extend special thanks to the staff of Slidell Memorial Hospital and Lakeshore Hospice for their care and compassion when it was needed most.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation to be held at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Saturday, March 9th from 9:00AM – 12:00PM.

A Funeral Mass will follow at St. Bernard Catholic Church, 2805 Bayou Rd., St. Bernard, LA beginning at 1:00PM.

Burial will take place in St. Bernard Catholic Cemetery.
