Penny was born in New Orleans, LA., moved to Violet, LA, where she lived for many years until Hurricane Katrina briefly, where she resided for a while in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, until she returned to Violet, which has remained her home until her passing. Penny was a devoted wife for 38 wonderful years; mother and grandmother who she always supported and attended her sons and grandson’s baseball games and never missed practices. She loved life and the joy it had to offer; she was well loved and affectionately known for her good nature and heart. She always looked forward to going to the Land O’Pines campgrounds in Covington on July 4th, Mardi Gras and all parades in St. Bernard, and mostly the trips to the Casino. Above all she was strong-willed and never afraid to speak her mind whenever she got the chance.
Rest in Peace Penny. You enjoyed a wonderful and fulfilled life, were deeply loved and will always be remembered for your laughter and strength to help others when needed.
