Phyllis "Sissy" Gioe entered into eternal rest on Thursday, December 19, 2019. She was 71 years old. She was the loving wife of Gasper Gioe. Beloved mother of Rhonda Tilman and Kaylen Gioe. Step-mother of Benjamin Gioe, Jimmy Gioe, and Stephen Gioe. She was the proud grandmother of three grandchildren, and great-grandmother of three great-grandchildren. Sister of Debbie and Dale. She was preceded in death by her parents, the late Frances Holland, and the late William Jackson, and by her siblings, the late Bill, the late Patricia, and the late Lynn.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. VIRTUE STREET, in Chalmette, on Friday, December 27, 2019, from 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held in her honor at 11:00 AM. She will be laid to rest in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens.
