Randal T. Penney

Randal T. Penney Sr., age 78, of Chalmette, LA, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 17,2025. Born on September 26, 1947, in New Orleans, Louisiana, he lived a life marked by resilience, devotion to family, and quiet strength. A proud veteran, he served 6 years in the United States Army National Guard. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, boxing, and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Randal is survived by his daughter, Dawn Penney; his grandchildren, Mason Owens (Mackensie) and Ty Penney (Ashlee); his great grandchildren, Chevelle Penney and Alexander Penney; his brothers, David Penney (Gayle) and Stephen Penney (Rose). He is preceded in death by his wive, Audrey Alfonso Penney; his children, Kimberly Penney, Randal T. Penney Jr., and Jason Penney; his granddaughter, Reagan Penney; his parents, William & Jane Adams Penney; his siblings, Carol Sanchez (the late Vincent), William Penney Jr., and Donald Penney.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation to be held at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Friday, December 5, 2025, from 11:00 AM- 12:00 PM. A funeral service will begin at 12:00 PM. Burial will follow in ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL GARDENS.
