Richard John Luke passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, September 23, 2026 at the age of 95. Born on January 2, 1931, Richard was a proud United States Marine Corps veteran who served his country with honor and dedication.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Gaynell Clara Luke; his parents, Thaddeus Joseph Luke and Dora Trentacosta Luke; and his siblings, Thaddeus Luke Jr., Jimmy Luke, and Julia Ann Luke.
Richard is survived by his loving children, Thaddeus"Ted" Luke and Shirley Ann Luke; his cherished granddaughters, Sandra and Holly; and his cherished great-grandsons, Michael and Cameron "C'C".
He will also be fondly remembered by his dear friends, Donnie and Missy, as well as Gaynell’s cherished friends, Rosalie, Muriel "Red" Simon, and her cousin Bertha, along with many extended family members and friends whose lives he touched.
