Richard Anthony Volante Jr. passed away on Saturday, May 14, 2016 at the age of 55. He was the beloved father of Richard A. Volante III and Truly V. Craig (Corey). Son of the late Richard Sr. and Eva Wilson Volante. Brother of Jeannette V. Murry (Kenneth), Tammy V. Hentze (Donald), Wendy V. St. Romain (Bert), Kenneth E. Volante (Tracy), Kathleen V. Bruscato (Jeffrey), Maria V. Romano (Michael) and Steve W. Volante (Stephanie). Proud grandfather of Parker M. Craig. He is also survived and fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. Richard was a lifelong resident of St Bernard Parish where he was an accomplished and talented artist. He was well loved and was a dedicated and loving father and friend to many. He will be deeply missed by us all. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation to be held at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Thursday, May 19th from 9:00AM – 11:00AM, followed by a funeral service in Richard’s memory beginning at 11:00AM. Burial will be private.
