A resident of Chalmette, LA, Richelle was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose warmth and bright spirit touched so many lives. Over the years, Richelle was a familiar and welcoming face in her community, having worked at Sav-A-Center and Gerald's Donuts. Her deep faith and love for music shone brightly through her dedication to the Our Lady of Prompt Succor Choir, where she shared her voice in worship and fellowship.
Richelle’s greatest joy in life was simple and profound. She cherished every moment spent with her children and grandchildren. Her pride in them shone quietly but unmistakably - in the warmth of her eyes, the embrace of her hugs, and the tenderness with which she spoke their names. Her love for her family was selfless, never seeking attention and never needing grand declarations to be known. It revealed itself in countless small acts of care, leaving an imprint that words alone could never capture.
Her legacy lives on in the lives she shaped, the love she gave so freely, and the hearts that are better for having known her. She was a woman whose presence brought comfort, strength, and grace, making life richer simply by being part of it.
She will be missed more deeply than words can express, loved beyond measure, and remembered always in the countless hearts she touched. Her life was a quiet blessing, and her memory will remain a cherished gift to all who knew her.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation to be held at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church, 2320 Paris Road in Chalmette, LA on Monday, June 8th from 10:00AM – 12:00PM, followed by a Funeral Mass in Richelle’s memory beginning at 12:00PM. She will be laid to eternal rest in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens.
