Not even sure where to start
Loved Bob and his family, patience, determination.
Moving 3 antique busses, 2 equipment trucks, and around 125-135 human beings, 10s of thousands of miles, annually, across the nation.
Housing, maintaining broken down equipment, organizing contests months in advance, housing for over a hundred folks. And rarely, if ever, losing his patience.
Our lives were just not molded, a few of us, it most likely not just touched, but also saved our lives.
Bob, you'll be remembered as a Giant, a Mentor, and a Gladiator for you amazing efforts.
Horns, Percussion, guard equipment, all the uniforms people and vehicles often a parade in one city and state, a parade in a different city and state, and then return to first city and state to perform and compete, ALL IN ONE DAY !!. No easy task. Takes inhuman love, devotion, and absolute Love for those involved.
I wish could be there to bid you God Speed.
Thank you Leader, Mentor, and Brother Duster, LEGEND -

Bob was instrumental in my becoming an excellent marching musician. He taught me tenor bugle, soprano bugle, French Horn Bugle and finally contra bugle. He made me the best that I could be from 1959-1967. He was a great mentor, educator, and friend.

Well, Bob, we knew this day would come, and come it did. I will miss my ol' junior drum corps friend. It has been many years since 1954 when I met a great bunch of teenagers in the VFW Cadets. We had fun practicing, drilling, traveling, partying. Many have gone on and now you have joined them. I miss them and already miss you, my dear friend. Your battle has ended and I hope for you only joy and peace as you rejoin Sandra. God bless you. My sincerest condolences to Bob's family in this time of grief.
