Robert Joseph Hingle passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 28, 2024 at the age of 91. He was the beloved son of the late Elliot Hingle and Norma Gelpi Hingle. Loving brother of Jerry Hingle (Carol) and the late Elliot Hingle (Janice) and Gail (Hingle) Turead. Uncle of Karla Girod (Kevin), Kerri Fairburn (Mike), Nicole Egan (Scott) and Chad Hingle. Great Uncle of Krista, Kaleb, Kaylan, Klaire, Connor, Nathan, Parker and Jovi. He is also survived by many relatives and dear friends.
Robert was born in New Orleans, LA and was a longtime resident of St. Bernard Parish where he enjoyed a long career as a Bellman. He found pleasure in the details of everyday life and cared deeply for others. He will be deeply missed by his family and by all those whose lives he touched.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a graveside service to be held at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL GARDENS, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Thursday, April 4th beginning at 1:00PM.
