Rodney “Turk” Weiskopf passed away on Monday, June 23, 2014. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of over 50 years Dorothy (Deogracias). Son of the late George and Mabel Weiskopf, Turk was a native of St. Bernard LA. He served his country in Army will be greatly missed by those who know and love him. He is preceded in death by his brothers George and Stanley, sisters Violet, Doris, and Mabel. Father to Rodney Weiskopf Jr., (Robin), Todd Weiskopf (Shari), Kim Buras (Gene) and the late Lydia Luscy (Richard). Grand-father of Kurt, Gene III, Rodney III, Ashlee, Todd Jr, and Devin. Great-grandfather of seven and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Visitation to be held at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Friday, June 27, 2014 from 10:00AM – 12:00PM. A Memorial Mass will follow at 12:00PM. Inurnment will be at St. Bernard Catholic Cemetery.
