Roger John Meyers was born February 3, 1953 and passed away on Thursday, March 5, 2015. He was the son of Dorothy Ducote Meyers and the late James Meyers, Sr. Roger was preceded in death by his sister Deanna Romaguera, and brothers Rodney and Carl Meyers. He is survived by his sisters Beverly Cosse, and Darlene Jorns (Pat) and brother Jim (Stephanie) as well as numerous aunts, uncles, Nieces, nephews, and cousins. The family wishes to thank the staff at Utopia Community Home in Violet, LA where Roger resided in the last years of his life. He will be sadly missed but he can now experience everlasting peace in the loving presence of Jesus Christ. Private services will be held at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME. Interment to follow in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens.
