

Roselynn Cottier Sciambra passed away peacefully, after a long and memorable life, on Monday, May 2, 2016 at the age of 90. She was the cherished wife of the late Martin J. Sciambra. Loving mother of Linda S. Sheehan (Pat), Charleen S. Sharpe (Floyd) and Nicholas M. Sciambra (Mary). Daughter of the late Florence Silver Cottier and Charles Cottier. Sister of Florence C. Schoen and the late Lionel Cottier, Alton Cottier and Ralph Cottier. Proud grandmother of Robert Long, Anne Marie Long, Desiree Baquie, Marty Sciambra, Melissa Schilling, Jessica Sheehan and Matthew Sharpe. She is also survived and fondly remembered by her 5 great grandchildren, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. Roselynn was a native of New Orleans, LA and a longtime resident of St. Bernard Parish, residing in Biloxi, MS since 2005. She was well loved and will be forever remembered as a loving and loyal wife, mother, grandmother, sister and a friend of many, who treasured her family. Special thanks the Dr. Regina Mills, Compassus Hospice, Biloxi Regional Hospital, Comfort Keepers Staff & Nurse’s aides and Greenbriar Nursing Home of Biloxi, MS. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation to be held at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Monday, May 9th from 12:00PM – 2:00PM, followed by a funeral service in Roselynn’s memory beginning at 2:00PM. She will be laid to rest in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens.
