Thomas “Tom” Harrison, was born on March 30, 1950. He was proceeded in death by his parents John and Lovie Harrison and his brother Peter Harrison. He is survived by his siblings Jack (Jenny) Harrison, Lovie (Bart) Geraci, Michael (Cherrie) Harrison, and Mary Alexander, also sister-in-law Betsy Harrison. He is survived by many nephews, nieces, and grand nephews and nieces. Every summer he would gather his nephews and take them on a vacation in his RV. They went to Gettysburg, Grand Cannon, Mt. Rushmore, and many other places.
He taught at Millaudon Elementary School in Violet for many years. He also taught the G E D program at Nunez and the parish prison for the St. Bernard Parish School Board.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial gathering to be held at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Saturday, July 11th from 11:00AM – 1:00PM, followed by a Memorial Mass in Thomas’ memory beginning at 1:00PM. He will be laid to eternal rest in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens.
