Verna Gonzales Morales

Verna Gonzales Morales passed away on Sunday, March 23, 2025, at the age of 86. She was the beloved wife of 56 years to the late Charles D. Morales. Loving mother of Charles J. Morales (Sandra), Leonard L. Morales (Tina) and the late Wayne D. Morales and Eugene J. Morales (surviving spouse Karen). Daughter of late Leno Gonzales and Mary Campo Gonzales. Sister of the late lrene Myrtle Robin. Proud grandmother of Linsey Berthelot (Ronnie), Gavin Morales, Jennifer Morales (Gregory), Alyssa Morales, Adrian Morales, Ashton Morales and the late Christopher and David Morales. She is also survived and fondly remembered by 5 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was a dedicated and loving mother and friend to many. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She will be deeply missed by all of those whose lives she touched.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation to be held at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 West Virtue Street, Chalmette, LA on Friday, April 4, 2025 from 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM, followed by a Funeral Mass at 1:00 PM. She will be laid to rest in St. Bernard Catholic Cemetery, St. Bernard, LA.
