He was a widower whose life was defined by devotion, kindness, and quiet strength. A loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, he took immense pride in his family and cherished every moment spent with them. His greatest joy came from being surrounded by those he loved, and his home was always a place of warmth, laughter, and welcome. He was also a loyal friend, known for his compassion, wisdom, and willingness to listen. His interests reflected his caring nature, including his involvement with St. Bernard N.R.A. and St. Bernard Counseling & Aging, causes that spoke to his values and commitment to others.
Vincent is survived by his daughter, Charlene M. Forte; his bonus daughter, Jhazmine Machado; his grandchildren, Michelle L. Regua, Marrissa E. Regua, Jeffery M. Regua, Mia E. Regua and Philip M. Regua; his great grandchildren, Thomas Jr., Hope, Kalani and Milani; his sisters, Karen and Donna. He is preceded in death by his wife, Charlene P. Forte; his parents, Vincent J. Forte and Camile F. Catalano; his brother, Anthony Forte. Though he will be deeply missed, his legacy lives on through the many lives he touched—as a family man, a friend, and a steady presence to all who knew him. His memory will be forever held in the hearts of those who loved him.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a graveside service to be held at St. Bernard Memorial Gardens, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Thursday, February 12, 2026, at 11:00 AM. He will be laid to eternal rest in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens.
