With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Warren Charles Bracamontes, aged 73, a beloved husband, stepfather, grandfather, and friend. He left this world peacefully, with his wife by his side, after a life well lived and deeply cherished. Warren was a man who found joy in the simple things like his morning coffee. He also loved great food, Mardi Gras balls, cruises, and travel. Above all, he adored his wife, Carmel, with whom he shared a deep and lasting love. Their bond was the foundation of his life and a beautiful example to those who knew them. He was a proud and devoted stepfather, always offering support, wisdom, and unconditional love. His grandchildren lovingly called him “Pop Brock” and that would light up his world. To his friends, he was loyal and genuine, always ready with a helping hand or a listening ear. He will be remembered not for grand gestures or worldly achievements, but for the way he made people feel—loved, seen, and safe.
Warren is survived by his wife, Carmel Fertitta Bracamontes; his step- children, Lisa Southern (Mark Dupuy) and Angela Southern Caruso (A.J); and his many nieces, nephews and step-grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren Audrey L. Doming, Sophia F. Doming, Richard A. Doming, Lexi Wibright, Brandon Wibright (Amanda), Megan Wibright Rabin (Chris); Madison Wibright, Payton Claflin, Wyatt Rabin and Brooklyn Branch; his sister and half- sister, Charmaine B. Swartz (Richard Sr.), Linda Bracamontes; niece Jamie S. Doming (Richard), and nephew, Richard A. Swartz Jr. He is preceded in death by his parents, Madge E. Bracamontes and John C. Bracamontes; his step- brother, Johnny Bracamontes and his nephew, Richard (Ricky) A. Swartz III. Rest easy, Warren. You were deeply loved, and you will be dearly missed.
